January News 2026
Church Rest
18th January church will pause for a Sunday and not be on. It is important not only to strive but to rest, and a rest is due to help everyone prepare for a new year. As we are a small church, we don’t have the facilities to run a service while the eldership is on holiday. This means that church will take a one week break. We will be back on the 25th January ready for a new year.
Prayer & Worship Night
25th January we will be having a service with a differnce. It will be a time of prayer and worship - a low key event, a time to pause and truly worship our Lord and pray for our church and the community. Come along at the normal 6pm time as we join together in prayer.
Youth On Holidays
We have finished up an amazing year of youth group, and everyone is on a well-deserved break during the Christmas period. Thank you to all who help out with youth and to all the amazing kids who made it such an awesome year.
Serve the Community
Join our team of awesome volunteers as we bless our community through practical service. If you can mow a lawn, weed a garden, wield a mop, use a hammer, fix a computer or have any other skills that can help your neighbours, this is an opportunity to share the love of God in our community.
Request Assistance
If you need a hand helping someone in our community, let us know! Fill in the assistance request form with all the details and we’ll contact you to see if we can help.
Get Involved
1 Peter 4:10
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
As we step into this new season together, we’re reminded that the church is not built on bricks alone, but on the hands and hearts of those willing to serve. There are many meaningful ways to get involved, from helping run our Sunday services to reaching out with compassion to those in need around us.
Whether your gift is hospitality, music, prayer, teaching, tech, or simply a willing spirit, there’s a place for you. This is a call to action: to be the hands and feet of Jesus, sharing His love through practical service and heartfelt care, both within our church family and throughout the wider community.
Let’s steward the grace we’ve been given. Let’s serve with joy. Let’s make Christ known.
Giving
We know that there are so many who have a heart to give to the ministry of the church. Unfortunately, we cannot offer digital offering options just yet.
If you are planning on giving, we have a collection each week during our Sunday evening service. Please come prepared.
